We are delighted to announce that Innovate UK has awarded funding to Cardiff University to appoint an Associate to deliver a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) within the adoption sector in Wales.

The concept of a KTP is to embed and transfer knowledge and capability with organisations and the wider sector in which it operates to effect transformational change in the way it delivers its service. The conditions of the funding require the identification of a Company partner who will assist the financial and supervisory support of the post holder. The Company partner has been named as St. David’s Children Society Voluntary Adoption Agency.

This exciting and unique opportunity will enable a graduate or experienced professional to work directly with Cardiff University (School of Psychology and Cardiff Business School), St. David’s Children Society, statutory and voluntary sector partners who make up the National Adoption Service in Wales and the Director of Operations for National Adoption Service who has strategic oversight and leadership responsibilities for the service.

Details of the post can be found in the Academic section of the link below –Ref 6089BR  KTP – Policy and Partnership Development Associate  - www.cardiff.ac.uk/jobs

Closing date –18th June

Interviews – 6th July
