Empowering Adoptive Families are looking for parents of adoptive children to participate in an online study to look at what helps in parenting school aged children and teenagers who have been adopted.

This study is about child and adolescent well-being in adoptive families, with the main purpose of evaluating how adoption, child’s pre-adoptive history, and family dynamics can best promote child and adolescent development and well-being.

The study consists of an online survey to be completed by UK parents of school-aged children/adolescents (5-18 years old), whose child (or children) has been placed with them for at least 1 year. Children will not be asked to participate in this study.

You can learn more about the study by visiting the study’s blog: http://pcos59.wix.com/empoweradoptfamilies or emailing empoweringadoptfamilies@gmail.com .
